OMC Modpack for custom XVM
Absolutely the most useful tool I've come across for applying features of various XVM packs and standalone mods like jimbo's, while also being pretty simple and giving me stable results that look mostly stock.
If you don't like a change you made, you just run the program again, it loads your current settings, and you make the adjustment. There is a preview window in the program to see what the various settings actually do.
Here are my settings:
In these packs XVM will display clan icons that is has saved. I find this annoying and pointless. Go to world_of_tanks/res_mods/xvm/res and simply delete the clan icons folder.

One of a few things included in the 8.10 pack
►a mod allowing you to see the direction of enemy turrets via the minimap, as shown below by red directional lines (cannot be used in tournaments OPOPOPOP).
►"SafeShot" mod which will block you from friendly firing and block you from shooting dead tanks, like all those times when you wasted a Foch155 shot because it died to focused fire right as you fired and now you're stuck reloading. This should be mandatory for CW imo.
►Jimbo's tank icons which are pretty much stock but color coded by class.
►6th sense mod will keep the icon lit for the duration and give off an audible alarm and then a countdown when you are first spotted. You'll be annoyed by it until you realize you can react much faster to an audible then noticing the little bulb pop up.
Gameplay still looks pretty much like the screenshot in the first post.

I've tried the safeshot mod seperatly and it can be a hinderance at times. Such as those times when you are lined up very close and shooting over your teammates shoulder...if you even light him a touch, theres a delay in being able to fire.
Also, if you are leading a tank and there happens to be a dead tank behind him or a teammate in the sight window it won't let you fire.

Lighting the teammate a touch means it would best case bounce off the back of the turret and you'd be waiting to reload. You forgot about the time you reset 99% friendly cap against OTTER on Fjords? It's just personal experience from the 8.9 build...if it works better now so be it but I didn't like it.

I'm in as well. This is nice and easier. Loving it as well.
But I got a question, after my forced leave from the Clan Wars, I'm wondering if there's any Mods in there or out there somewhere that would keep the chat up longer and/or extended so I can keep track of orders and not miss out due to various other pings that is not related for me.

Part of the new update, recent chat will show up when you open your chat text line (hit enter). Also you can scroll back with it now too. It's a little clunky but it's better than nothing.

UPDATE: the turret direction mod for the minimaps has now been deemed ILLEGAL on the NA servers per WOT. Any pictures or vids showing their use are subject to a permaban.

Tig, I noticed that OMC Pack is very good on keeping their list updated and would remove the illegal mods.
Today update on WOT has stopped me from playing but as soon I checked OMC it was out of dated and soon I updated it. I'm able to play. So keep your OMC pack updated. They're respectful to keeping legal mods only on up to date OMC.

so having never used mods at all in my wot career, I installed this last night and could slap myself for not doing it sooner. the only thing I cant seem to get working is the garage, I have the double carousels, but I changed my garage view to the tank factory and it's not working, I'll try something different when I get home today. Just wondering if anyone else ran into this issue.

make sure u install the right mods, cause i installed one of the mini maps that ended up a hacker tool, here is our forum link to illegal tools....
